Delicious Air Fryer Sausage Rolls Recipe

Ingredients

  • 320 g Puff pastry (Notes: Ready rolled)
  • 400 g Sausages (Notes: Any type, ensure gluten-free if needed)
  • 1 unit Egg (Notes: Beaten for egg wash)
  • 3 tbsp Wholegrain mustard (Notes: Optional for flavor)
  • 1 tbsp Sesame seeds (Notes: Optional for topping)

Instructions

    Remove casing from sausages and mash together in a bowl until no longer lumpy.

    Roll out puff pastry and cut into strips.
  3. 3
    Spread mustard along the center of each strip, then top with sausage meat.

    Brush beaten egg along the edge of the pastry and roll it over the sausage, sealing the edges.

    Cut slits in the top of the pastry and brush with more egg.

    Place in the air fryer at 200°C for 12-15 minutes until golden brown.

Tips & Variations:

  • Allow the puff pastry to rest at room temperature before using.
  • Use a sharp knife to cut the pastry for clean edges.
  • You can freeze the rolls before cooking and cook from frozen, adding extra time.
