Ingredients

4 slices bread (Notes: Use white, whole wheat, or sourdough.)

2 slices sharp cheddar cheese (Notes: Can also use mozzarella or other melting cheeses.)

1 tablespoon butter (Notes: For spreading on the bread.)

1 tablespoon mayonnaise (Notes: Optional, can be used instead of butter.)
Instructions

1Preheat the air fryer to 370°F (188°C).

2Spread mayonnaise or butter on one side of each slice of bread.

3Place one slice of bread mayo/butter side down in the air fryer basket.

4Add cheese on top of the bread, then place the second slice of bread on top, mayo/butter side up.

5Air fry for 3-4 minutes, then flip and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until golden brown.
