Ingredients

  • 4 pieces Chicken thighs (Notes: Bone-in, skin-on for best results.)
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil (Notes: Can substitute with other oils.)
  • 1 teaspoon Kosher salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon Onion powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon Smoked paprika
  • 0.5 teaspoon Dried herbs (Notes: Such as herbs de Provence or oregano.)
  • 0.25 teaspoon Baking powder (Notes: Helps achieve crispy skin.)

Instructions

    Preheat the air fryer to 190°C (375°F).

    Pat the chicken thighs dry with a paper towel.

    Rub the olive oil over the chicken thighs, then season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, and dried herbs.

    Sprinkle baking powder over the skin and rub it in.

    Place the chicken thighs skin side down in the air fryer basket and cook for 12 minutes.

    Flip the chicken thighs so the skin side is up and cook for an additional 12-14 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 75°C (165°F).
