Ingredients

  • 2 large Apple (Notes: Gala, Fuji, Honeycrisp, or any crisp apple variety.)
  • 1 teaspoon Cinnamon (Notes: Optional for added flavor.)
  • 1.5 teaspoons Coconut oil (Notes: Melted, optional for coating.)
  • 0.25 teaspoon Nutmeg (Notes: Optional for added flavor.)
  • Salt (Notes: Optional for seasoning.)

Instructions

    Preheat the air fryer to 300°F (150°C).

    Wash and slice the apples into thin rounds (about 1/8 inch thick) using a mandoline or sharp knife.

    In a bowl, toss the apple slices with melted coconut oil, cinnamon, and nutmeg until evenly coated.

    Place the apple slices in a single layer in the air fryer basket, making sure they do not overlap.

    Air fry for 6-10 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the chips are golden and crispy.

    Remove the chips and let them cool on a rack. They will continue to crisp as they cool.
