1 cup All-purpose flour

1 cup Water

0.33 cup Unsalted butter (Notes: (plus one tablespoon))

1 teaspoon Salt

2 tablespoons Granulated sugar

1 teaspoon Vanilla extract

1 large Egg

1 tablespoon Ground cinnamon

1 cup Granulated sugar (for coating)

1 tablespoon Ground cinnamon (for coating)

0.25 cup Cream cheese (for dipping sauce) (Notes: softened)

0.25 cup Powdered sugar (for dipping sauce)

0.25 cup Milk (for dipping sauce)

0.25 cup Butter (for dipping sauce) (Notes: softened)
Instructions

1In a pan, add water, butter, salt, and sugar. Bring it to a boil over high heat.

2Reduce the heat and add in the flour gradually, mixing until the dough comes together. Switch off the flame.

3Remove the dough from the pan into a large mixing bowl and allow it to cool down for 4-5 minutes.

4Add in the egg and vanilla extract and mix everything together with an electric hand mixer.

5Transfer the mixture into a piping bag. Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C). Spray the basket with nonstick cooking spray.

6Pipe bite-sized churros into the air fryer basket without overcrowding. Brush some melted butter on top.

7Cook for 10-12 minutes until golden brown. Repeat with the remaining dough.

8In a shallow bowl, mix together sugar and cinnamon for coating.

9Once the churros are done, transfer them into the sugar and cinnamon mixture and toss to coat.

10Serve warm with chocolate sauce, honey, or Nutella.
Tips & Variations:

Use a piping bag for better shape, but you can drop the batter by spoonfuls if preferred.
