Delicious Air Fryer Bacon Brussels Sprouts Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 pound Brussels sprouts (Notes: trimmed and halved)
  • 5 slices Bacon (Notes: diced)
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon Balsamic vinegar
  • Kosher salt (Notes: to taste)
  • Black pepper (Notes: to taste)
  • Grated Parmesan cheese (Notes: for serving)
  • 2 tablespoons High heat avocado oil
  • 2 tablespoons Lime juice
  • 0.5 teaspoon Garlic powder
  • 0.25 cup Pistachios
  • 5 pieces Pitted dates (Notes: diced)

Instructions

    Trim the bottom end off of Brussels sprouts and slice them in half.

    In a large mixing bowl, add sprouts and bacon. Pour in olive oil, salt, garlic powder, and lime juice. Toss to coat.

    Add the sprouts and bacon in the air fryer basket and spread them out to an even single layer.

    Air fry at 380°F for 7 minutes. Open air fryer and stir Brussels sprouts and bacon. Air fry for an additional 6 minutes.

    When there are 10 minutes left, add pistachios and dates on top of the Brussels sprouts then top it all with bacon. Cook for the last 10 minutes, tossing at the 5-minute mark.

    Once finished cooking, add to a bowl and toss with a little extra lime juice, salt, and pepper, and then top it all with basil and mint leaves.

Tips & Variations:

  • For extra crispiness, shake the basket halfway through cooking.
  • You can substitute the bacon with a vegetarian option if desired.
