Ingredients

  • 1.5 pounds Chicken tenders (Notes: (about 12 tenders))
  • 1 tablespoon Olive oil (Notes: for coating)
  • 0.5 cup Panko breadcrumbs (Notes: or regular breadcrumbs)
  • 0.5 cup Regular breadcrumbs (Notes: optional)
  • 0.25 cup Parmesan cheese (Notes: grated)
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Paprika
  • 1 teaspoon Salt (Notes: or to taste)
  • 0.5 teaspoon Black pepper (Notes: or to taste)
  • 2 large Eggs (Notes: beaten)
  • 0.5 cup All-purpose flour

Instructions

    Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).

    In a shallow bowl, mix the panko breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.

    In another bowl, beat the eggs.

    In a third bowl, add the flour.

    Dredge each chicken tender in flour, then dip in the beaten eggs, and finally coat with the breadcrumb mixture.

    Place the chicken tenders in the air fryer basket in a single layer, making sure they are not overcrowded.

    Lightly spray the tops with cooking spray.

    Air fry for 8 minutes, flip the tenders, spray again, and cook for another 7 minutes or until golden brown and cooked through.

Tips & Variations:

  • For extra crunch, use a combination of panko and regular breadcrumbs.
  • Make sure to preheat the air fryer for even cooking.
  • Do not overcrowd the air fryer basket to ensure crispiness.
