  • 1/4 cup plus 2 teaspoons coconut oil or unsalted butter melted and cooled slightly

Notes

Storage: Store cooled brownies in an airtight container at room temperature for 2 days or in the fridge for up to 5 days.
Freezing: Wrap individual brownies tightly and freeze for up to 2 months, then thaw before reheating or serving.
Reheating: Warm one brownie in the air fryer at 300°F for 2-3 minutes, checking early so the edges do not dry out.
Air Fryer Tips: Use a small pan that fits with airflow space around the sides, and start checking at 13 minutes because models vary.
Extra Crispy Tips: A metal pan and a short cooling time help the edges set with a chewy finish while keeping the center fudgy.
Variations: Add chopped walnuts, pecans, white chocolate chips, espresso powder, or a small pinch of flaky salt on top.
